Housing Administrator – 30 Hours per Week

We’re looking for a Housing Administrator to join our supported living and housing services in Surrey.

This is a varied role where your organisation, communication and people skills will help provide an effective housing service to tenants, families and professionals.

As a Housing Administrator, you’ll:

• Act as a first point of contact for tenants, families, professionals and agencies.
• Maintain tenancy records, agreements and housing documentation, including easy-read versions.
• Provide housing management support, including for tenants at Ashdown.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance enquiries, working with tenants, families, colleagues and contractors.
• Support tenants and families with Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and exempt accommodation queries.
• Liaise with local authorities and external agencies to resolve housing-related issues.
• Support property and projects teams with administration and document control.
• Book meetings, reviews and professional visits and provide a welcoming service to visitors.

What we’re looking for:

• At least two years’ administrative experience, ideally in housing, supported living, care or a related environment.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and dealing with customer enquiries.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.
• A warm, professional, empathetic and non-judgemental approach.
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, equality and inclusion.

• Vulnerable families – including those experiencing homelessness.
• Individuals needing extra support to remain in their homes or with their families.
