We're looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our supported living service in Reigate, Surrey, providing accommodation, care, and support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you will:
- Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
- Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
- Support daily living activities, including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping.
- Promote inclusion, dignity, choice, and independence for each person we support.
- Communicate effectively with individuals receiving support, colleagues, families, and external professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies and procedures.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues when required.
What we're looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to undertake and complete the qualification).
- Ideally, at least two years' experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
- A caring, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in challenging situations.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
