    This is your chance to use your practical expertise to help create safe, comfortable spaces where families can rebuild their lives. We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Support professional who takes pride in high standards and cares about supporting people in their community.

    This is a part-time role of 8 hours per week (4 hours on Monday and 4 hours on Wednesday).

    Key Responsibilities
    Carry out general repairs and maintenance inside and outside the property.
    Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and decorating tasks.
    Perform regular health and safety checks and record any issues.
    Maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping, gardening, and litter removal.
    Support with internal tasks such as moving furniture or small installations.
    Liaise with contractors, obtain quotes, and oversee minor works.
    Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly and respond to emergencies when needed.
     
    What We’re Looking For
    At least 5 years’ experience in property maintenance (social housing experience desirable).
    A relevant trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
    Practical skills across several trades (plumbing, electrics, decorating).
    Good knowledge of health and safety and housing compliance.
    Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
    Full driving licence (desirable).
